ARKRAY is hiring an Account Manager/Inside Sales to represent ARKRAY and our products to healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and educators both in person and on the telephone. Responsible for developing and pursuing an account base of business in alternate markets and driving business including, but not limited to, Retail Pharmacy Chains and Independents, Wholesalers, HME/DME, & Home Health Agencies.

This position will primarily be an Inside Sales role with some travel and will work in our Edina, MN office. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build one-on-one relationships and proactively sell to customers by calling via telephone and in person.
  • Represent ARKRAY at local, state, and national trade shows and seminars that pertain to our business.
  • Maintain and build strategic relationships with ARKRAY employees key to the marketing segment in which the TAM is employed; this could be distribution partners or account managers.
  • Provide value to the healthcare professional by providing clinical insight and demonstrating superior features and benefits of ARKRAY products to help drive pull-through.
  • Initiates calls to current and potential clients to up sell or initiate new business leads nationwide including CDEs, doctors, independent pharmacies, HME/DME's, retail chains, hospital systems and other strategic initiatives. (local, district and regional) managers of the world's largest retailer, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage assigned key accounts within current territory that have implemented ARKRAY products and look to develop greater levels of revenue.
  • Implement business plans and/or strategies created by VP of CHD, retail marketing specialist and other appropriate market segment marketing professionals.
  • Detail and in-service ARKRAY products including ARKCare, YouChoose and other value-added programs as required and needed.
  • Achieve fiscal year budgeted sales numbers that have been assigned to the territory.
  • Manage territory effectively and budget to maximize sales per dollars and expenses.
  • Provide various reports to manager such as call and expense reports, market share updates, spread sheets, etc.
  • Access other electronic database and business intelligence tools to mine data for use in forecasting and business planning.
  • Effectively update and utilize CRM on a daily basis.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience preferably in medical sales. Specific diabetes category experience preferred.
  • Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail combined with the ability to win over clients and close the sale.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills are a must; comfortable cold calling and presenting technical information.
  • Proven customer service practices that have resulted in building long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed individual who functions well in a results-oriented environment.
  • Situated near a major airport with domestic travel expectations to be greater than 20%.
  • Familiarity with diabetes market and / or previous sales experience in a one-on-one client-based setting helpful.
  • Computer Knowledge of CRM, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • College Degree Preferred.
