ARKRAY is currently looking to fill a Manufacturing Technician I position responsible for the set-up and operation of all manufacturing equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing and packaging of diagnostic products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set-up and operation of production machinery including the coaters, web slitter, laminators, test strip assembly machines, automated strip converting equipment, labelers and packaging equipment. (Automated and semi-automated)
  • Documentation of batch records (PMP's), labor tracking, material inventory usage and production quantities.
  • Knowledge of safety for the work functions.
  • All employees are expected to understand and support the ARKRAY Safety and Quality Systems programs and business philosophies. Must be flexible and perform a variety of job related tasks which may not be contained in this position profile, including job rotation across product lines.  Must display progress in training programs and job knowledge.
  • Use suitable and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and basic mathematical and counting skills as needed
  • Cleaning and housekeeping of the machinery and manufacturing space.
  • Knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements and process details.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • 1+ years manufacturing experience, assembly or packaging experience, specifically in the medical device or medical diagnostic products industry is preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must possess functional and effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, and functional use of math and numbers (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, counting, etc.)
  • Must be comfortable with the use of personal computers.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
